Yesterday, I read a very exciting report on stem cells. This report was published on scientific american blog. Of course, this was really a great news, believe me. Now scientist has successfully grown a living mouse named tiny. Thanks to this little mouse, researchers have now shown that full, living mammals can be grown from so called induced pluripotent stem cells. Xiao Xiao, as the rodent is called in its native chinese, was one of the dozens created from induced pluripotent stem cells(ipS cells) and born to a surrogate mother. This process was described in study published yesterday in Nature. Researchers used a virus to deliver four genes into fibroblast cells taken from adult mice, triggering the change to ipS cells were them implanted into embryo that didn’t have the requisite genetic information for for to fuelnsf plecenta. That these implanted embryos developed into full baby mice Read rest here . This research has its own importance. Now we can say faithfully that we can grow cheap heart and other necessary original organs for replacements due to several diseases like cancer. We have solution of cancer like diseases in near future. We can create organ which will not harm us but give a long life. Really this is a wonderful research.
